UNITE – How Does Portland Play? hosted by Design Museum Foundation

November 17, 2016 at 6:30 pm - 9:00 pm

Free

Join us for our next UNITE when a multidisciplinary panel will discuss the importance of play and playscape design. Our quarterly UNITE panel will delve into how play is related to design, psychology, parenting, architecture, and development, and the ways in which we can design a more playful future.

Panelists Include:

Christina Frank – MIG – Moderator
Cody Goldberg – Harper’s Playground
Katie Shook – Mudland
Michael Laris – Playworld

6:30p Doors • 7:00p Panel

Taking place at the Extraordinary Playscapes exhibition at PNCA, this Fall’s UNITE will provide a playful look into the impact that design can have on childhood development. Join us for an evening of networking, light refreshments, and plenty of great design conversation!

UNITE is our evening panel discussion series with themes at the intersection of design and just about everything else. We set a theme and curate 4 panelists that each cover a different facet of that topic — our goal is to bring together a broad community of diverse people around design. The event begins with mingling and networking, after the panel discussion there is a question and answer segment that is always interesting.
